I am very much a 'Big Picture' person, which is a great leadership skill to posses, however, it doesn't help with the day-to-day activities necessary to achieve lofty goals.
Tony Robbins talked about a statistic that really hit home with me. He said that a woman today who reaches the age of 50, without getting cancer or heart disease, can expect to see her 92nd birthday. Like many Americans, I need to shape up, improve my cholesterol a bit, and most importantly, increase my energy. I'm very interested in Nanotechnology and get excited at the idea of living to be 160 years old if I can be healthy both physically and mentally.
Tonight I decided to make one change every two weeks in 2011, which equates to 24 changes for the year. I'll focus on each change for 21 days, allowing them to become habitual, and ultimately transforming myself into a healthier, happier, more energetic me.
